Genre-bending indie artist Ezra Furman opens their United States tour in their hometown of Chicago this Tuesday, July 8th in support of new album Goodbye Small Head.

Furman describes the new album as a collection of songs "vivid with overwhelm" but "not about someone going off the rails, they are inside a person's heart". As a deviation from their work with Ezra Furman and the Harpoons, Furman describes this album as reflective of "a time when a woman is left alone in a room to unravel".

If past history is any indication, Furman's upcoming show at Thalia Hall Chicago will surely be one to remember.
